If you're venturing into the charming island of Langkawi, make sure to add Cendol Sempoi Juriah to your culinary itinerary. This delightful cendol restaurant, nestled on Jalan Makam Mahsuri in Kampung Bukit Temin, offers a taste of local sweetness that you won't want to miss.
Cendol Sempoi Juriah specializes in the beloved Malaysian dessert cendol, a delightful mix of shaved ice, green rice flour jelly, coconut milk, and palm sugar syrup. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy a meal. This hidden gem is praised for its warm atmosphere, as reflected in a review from John Osasuna, who noted the "delightful experience" and cozy environment, perfect for small family gatherings.
While the cendol is undoubtedly the star of the show, don't overlook some of their other culinary offerings. Customers highly recommend the Special Cendol Durian, praised by IR RAMA as "really good" and a must-try for any durian lovers. The traditional cendol is also well-received, offering a refreshing treat that pairs perfectly with a hot day in Langkawi. For those wanting something savory, be sure to try the laksa, which, according to IR RAMA, could use a touch more salt but otherwise delivers a satisfying flavor.
Owner and chef Ahmad Hafiz Buniamin passionately serves comforting dishes like Pak Kra Pao and Nasi Goreng Sardin, each infused with a home-cooked feel that is sure to resonate with locals and tourists alike. Ahmad's exceptional service is a common theme amongst reviews, with patrons highlighting the cozy, homey atmosphere of the restaurant that makes them feel instantly at ease.
Beyond just food, Cendol Sempoi Juriah also features a collection of beautiful bromeliads available for sale, adding a unique touch to your dining experience. As Gren Private reflects, the restaurant is a "nice and cozy" place to unwind, making it the perfect spot to savor a refreshing cendol before heading to the airport or continuing your Langkawi adventures.
Overall, Cendol Sempoi Juriah offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, succulent dishes, and a personal touch that will make your visit memorable. Whether you're indulging in the delicious cendol or exploring the owner’s botanical collection, this little eatery is a fantastic stop on your Langkawi journey!

Their Special Cendol Durian is really good. Even the normal cendol is also good. By far the nicest cendol in Langkawi Island. Laksa was not too bad just lack a little salt but otherwise it's alright.. environment was cool and cozy, overall nice place to dine.

Came here on a whim before heading for our home flight. Please was nice and cozy. If looking to eat, they have some other food as well. Went with their normal Cendol and was not disappointed. Every part of the Cendol was nice. Place will be warm if the sun is shining brightly but the Cendol will help cool you down.
